Thomas Christensen, who earlier served as CFO for the company is appointed as successor; Zuiderveld will assist Active 24 as Business Development Director.

Active 24, a web hosting service company, today announced the resignation of Jaap Zuiderveld from his position as CEO. Mr. Zuiderveld has held the position as CEO since December 2004 and will continue to assist Active 24 as Business Development Director.

Thomas Christensen, who previously held the position as CFO in Active 24, has been appointed new CEO. Mr. Christensen, age 39, has been with Active 24 ASA since 2003 where he has been responsible for all finance and ccounting, M&A, PR/IR, legal within the group as well as the implementation of the new go-to-market strategy.

"In my time as CEO, we have made some important steps for the long term benefit of the company, consolidating in our core markets through acquisitions and replaced all our back office systems. I am convinced that the company is heading the right way and has a very prosperous future after the last transformation" says Jaap Zuiderveld.
