Program allows CDW Sapphire Partners offer customers ready access to breakout technologies and solutions.
Kaspersky Lab, a developer of Internet threat management solutions, today announced that it has been selected by CDW Corporation, a provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, for its Sapphire Partner Program, a proactive approach to embracing breakout technologies and the companies that offer them.
The company articulates that its end-point security solutions protect the computer's file system, e-mail, and web traffic against known and unknown malicious Internet attacks including viruses, spyware, Internet fraud attempts and identity theft, spam, hacker attacks, and other malware threats. It avers that Kaspersky has garnered many industry accolades, including the CNET Editors' Choice Award two years running, selected as a Best Buy and one of the top 100 products for 2007 by PC World and most recently was chosen for the Readers' Choice Award from leading Windows security resource site, WindowSecurity.com
In addition, it says CDW designed the Sapphire Partner Program to increase customer access to industry players that represent emerging trends in the technology marketplace, allowing CDW to stay ahead of product life cycles and meet customer needs as innovative products and services reach maturity. It adds that companies designated as CDW Sapphire Partners work closely with CDW account managers and technology specialists to provide information, advice and support for products and solutions of increasing interest to CDW customers.
"Kaspersky is relatively new to the North American marketplace and has quickly gained recognition for our innovative approach to securing corporate networks from the rising tide of malicious threats," said Dave Allison, vice president of channel sales for Kaspersky Lab Americas. "We look forward to working closely with CDW to meet the needs of our shared customers."
"CDW is pleased to include Kaspersky Lab in our Sapphire Partner program," said Matt Troka, CDW vice president of partner and product management. "The Sapphire Partner Program underscores CDW's commitment to work with market players that are shaping the technology landscape."
