Former Oracle/PeopleSoft executive assumes responsibility for sales, operations and professional services in the EMEA region.
Keynote Systems, a provider of web performance measurement and management services, yesterday announced that Haran Sold, former director of product marketing and business development for the manufacturing and distribution sector across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Oracle/PeopleSoft, has been named Vice President and Managing Director for the EMEA region for Keynote.
In this position, Sold assumes responsibility for sales, operations and professional services, including Keynote's service level management (SLM) and customer experience management (CEM) solutions to expand and increase Keynote's market share outside the United States.
During the course of his career, Sold held a variety of management positions at NEC and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he managed the development, implementation and deployment of international strategic business information programs. He served as director of product marketing at PeopleSoft prior to its acquisition by Oracle and has over 15 years of international management experience in both high tech and consumer enterprise markets.
"With Keynote's recent acquisitions and partnerships in Europe, it was important to place an executive with a unique mix of talents, international experience and team building expertise such as those possessed by Mr. Sold, which will serve Keynote well as we further expand our presence in the EMEA markets just as those markets are ready to grow," said Patrick Quirk, executive vice president of worldwide customer operations at Keynote.
