New tool to complement company's existing SquirrelMail-based Webmail offering.

LFC Hosting, a web hosting and e-commerce solution provider, today announced the implementation of RoundCube Webmail to complement their existing SquirrelMail-based Webmail offering. It states that RoundCube uses AJAX technology and web 2.0 interface standards to provide a more natural user experience similar to that of a traditional desktop email client. It adds that with the aid of drag-and-drop message support and seamless user interaction, LFC's new Webmail offering delivers a fast, easy-to-use alternative.

The company avers that its Webmail service, provided free-of-charge with all of their hosting plans starting at $9.95/month, takes e-mail to another level by providing the ability to access and manage email over the web anywhere in the world, 24/7, from any computer with a modern web browser and Internet connection, enhancing their already highly competitive suite of services.

In addition to RoundCube, the company says that it will also continue to support the more traditional SquirrelMail platform, providing compatibility with all modern browsers along with a plethora of functionality including an address book, spell checker, plug-ins, multiple language support, and more.

It articulates that through its innovative proprietary account Control Panel, their customers can easily activate their choice of industry-standard, best-of-breed Webmail programs on each of their domain names, as well as fully manage POP3/IMAP accounts, forwarding accounts, autoresponders, and other e-mail features instantly and automatically.
