Lunarpages, a provider of web hosting services, yesterday announced a strategic alliance with e-onlinedata, a merchant account provider, to provide its web hosting customers with Internet credit card processing services.

Lunarpages and e-onlinedata will provide a secure web based application process which streamlines enrollment and setup of the merchant account and payment gateway. Merchants will then be able to authorize and settle credit card orders directly from their eCommerce storefront and Virtual Terminal, using the Authorize.Net IP payment gateway service.

e-onlinedata says that by working together, the companies are enhancing the merchant enrollment process on the Internet so that eCommerce store owners will have their applications processed in a manner best suited to Internet based businesses.
