Mailtrust, a business-email specialist and a division of Rackspace Hosting, announced that it has selected Cloudmark, a carrier-grade messaging security, to provide complete spam and phishing protection to its more than 100,000 business hosting customers. It adds that it has deployed the Cloudmark Authority plug-in for Apache SpamAssassin to improve message filtering accuracy and boost system performance. Cloudmark's comprehensive message filtering solution, combined with their proven hosted business-class e-mail services, gives demanding business customers unmatched messaging capabilities, higher e-mail service quality and a markedly improved user experience, avers the company.

The company asserts that Cloudmark also integrates seamlessly with their new integrated control panel, which allows customers to control both Exchange and Noteworthy e-mail services from one central location. Users can now also manage their Cloudmark spam settings through their new control panel, thereby enabling a single domain with both types of mailboxes and one shared set of spam controls, claims the company.
