Offers F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager for two or more dedicated servers; one time set-up fee of $50 and a monthly recurring charge starting at $50.
MaximumASP, a
provider of Windows based web hosting services, on January 18, 2007,
announced the availability of load balancing powered by F5 BIG-IP Local
Traffic Manager for two or more dedicated servers.
The hardware
load balancing allows the company to provide high-availability services
based on server fail-over, traffic load, or simple round-robin
approaches. The networking team will determine what method of load balancing
is best based on individual customer needs for a one time set-up fee of
$50 and a monthly recurring charge starting at just $50.
"MaximumASP recognizes that every website needs to be available all of
the time regardless of size. Our customers will benefit from the best
power and intelligence available for traffic management. In addition to
load balancing the benefits for customers include increased application
capacity, improved scalability and increased reliability by distributing
total traffic loads, and redistributing the load of a failed web server
and providing proactive server health checks to determine availability,"
said Wade Lewis, Managing Partner, Operations.
