Parallels, a provider of virtualization and automation software, yesterday announced that MESH, a European data center and services provider, has deployed Parallels Automation to provide its reseller channel with a portfolio of white-labeled applications, including Microsoft Hosted Exchange, Windows Sharepoint, and Open-Xchange Linux-based email and groupware. The company says that gollowing this week's successful launch, MESH is now able to leverage Parallels Automation to deliver cost-effective, hosted services in a cloud model and with capabilities that were previously only available to large enterprise businesses.

It adds that MESH manages all the automation technology and support for its reseller channel and improves their ability to bundle services they choose to offer customers, through a standardized control panel. The company claims that Parallels Automation provides a complete end-to-end automation platform - complete ordering, billing, and service delivery and helps drive the expansion of new hosted services to increase productivity and profitability. It further states that Parallels Automation enables delivery of SaaS applications including Microsoft Exchange, Windows SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS), etc. in a hosted environment and lets MESH become a one-stop shop for hosted applications.
