Demand for email SaaS drives new Alliance, Technology and System Integrator Partnerships.

Mimecast, an email management company offering SaaS-based email archiving, continuity, security and policy control, today announced that it has expanded its partner program to include Alliance, Technology and System Integrator Partnerships.

The company explains that it has experienced increased demand for its SaaS services from the partner community, as demonstrated by 318% revenue growth in the first nine months of fiscal 2009 (to Dec 31st 2008). The Mimecast Partner Program will expand to incorporate Alliance Partners, partnerships with both a technology and commercial engagement; Technology Partners, i.e. partnerships where its offerings will integrate with other vendor technology or where there is a complementary technology fit; and System Integrators – to meet increasing demand from global and local system integrators to add it to their portfolio of customer offerings.

The interest from the wider channel community reflects the market appetite for streamlining IT and selecting more efficient and cost effective technologies.  IT departments are realising that running all hardware and software in-house is no longer realistic and are turning to their IT partner for guidance and to recommend new solutions.''
