Name Intelligence, today
announced that it has identified achievers in various segments of the
Internet industry at the 2004 Name Intelligence Awards. The various
categories for the awards included: Users' Choice, Largest Net Gain,
Best ICANN Reseller, Largest Position Jump, Best Secondary Market, Best
Drop Catcher, Most Innovative use of Technology and Best Parking Page
Program.
This year's Users' Choice awards were given to domain name registrars
GoDaddy, Network Solutions, Tucows, Register.com, eNom, Melbourne IT,
Dotster and BulkRegister on the basis of loyal and satisfied
customer-base and proven integrity in customer relations, among other
key metrics.
The Largest Position Jump award for companies with a net
increase of over 100,000 new domains in the previous calendar year and
an increase of no less than 200% in overall growth was given to
Name.com (410% Increase), Fabulous.com (340% Increase), and Moniker
(275% Increase).
For their domain transfer handling process, SnapNames received the
distinctive Most Innovative with Domains Award. Westerdal said,
