yesterday announced that it has extended its extensive monitoring
capabilities to customers whose servers are located outside of a
NaviSite data center.
NaviSite claims that its Remote Monitoring Services simplify the
application and infrastructure monitoring and management process by
providing a comprehensive view of IT systems through one interface:
NaviView, NaviSite's customer management portal. At a glance, customers
can easily assess the availability, responsiveness, and performance of
all critical IT components, including critical applications, network
devices, security devices, and servers/operating systems.
In addition, NaviSite's Network Operations Center monitors the
customer's IT environment 24x7, immediately escalating any problems to
a designated contact at the customer's location. With NaviSite's Remote
Monitoring Services, customers can take advantage of NaviSite's 24x7
monitoring capabilities and application and infrastructure expertise
wherever the customers' environments are located.
