NetBotz, Inc., a provider of IP-based physical monitoring solutions, recently announced new Premium Software Modules for its customers to integrate third party equipment into a common monitoring and management platform.

According to the company, Premium Software Modules are value-add software applications that enhance the functionality of a NetBotz appliance, and are offered as free downloadable software upgrades to all its appliances covered under Extended Warranty and Maintenance.

The modules provide features like Intelligent Platform Management Interface, Intelligent Power Strip Integration, Pod Sharing and Network Attached Storage (NAS) Support. An additional Premium Software Module solution also supports the importation of maps and room schematics into the management GUI. By placing icons that represent sensors and cameras on the image, a user can quickly isolate the location of a threat.
