Web Host encourages businesses to protect their brands by registering .asia domains.

Netfirms, Inc., a web host and ICANN accredited domain name Registrar, today announced that it is now offering .asia domain names. The company believes that the addition of .asia domain names to their product line corresponds with today's official .asia top level domain launch.

The Registrar states that its encouraging North American businesses to protect their brands and trademarks by registering their businessname with the new .asia domain extension. Registrants outside of Asia can meet Charter Eligibility Requirements by assigning Netfirms as their technical contact.

It declared that its offering .asia for only $19.95 per year and an additional $5.00 per year per domain to assign Netfirms as their technical contact, further it adds that customers registering .asia domain names through them receive: an .asia domain name, a basic webpage with 25MB of disk space that can be edited immediately, an email account at the domain including a calendar, address book and spam filtering, Full DNS management with the user-friendly Netfirms Control Panel.
