BladeLogic, Inc., a data center automation software provider, yesterday announced that Netflix, Inc.,
a online movie rental service, has selected BladeLogic's suite of data
center automation solutions as the platform to automate its IT
infrastructure.
By selecting BladeLogic Operations Manager, Netflix will be able to
streamline operations and improve service availability by automating
the lifecycle of its data center management processes including
provisioning, patching, compliance and day-to-day server and
application configuration management. In addition, Netflix will also
implement BladeLogic Orchestration Manager, a software solution that
provides process automation using event-driven workflow and data
integration with other best-of-breed systems management software tools,
claims the company.
