Canadian based Web hosting company announces its expansion into a new data center in Austin, Texas.
NetNation Communications Inc., a Canadian Web hosting company, yesterday announced its expansion into a new data center in Austin, Texas.
According to the company, this move will give it the opportunity to provide its US customers with low ping times from Coast to Coast and to Central and South America. The new data center boasts 60,000 square feet of space, and multiple and redundant direct OC-12 (622Mbit/s) links that scale to OC-48 (2.5 Gbit/s) to the backbone hubs.
"Providing our customers the fastest service possible is our top priority," said Dale Bunten, NetNation's Dedicated Product Manager. "Expanding our facilities into a technology hub such as Austin allows us to do that and meet the overwhelming demand we've experienced in the Managed Hosting sector over the past two years."
