Offers resellers the chance to pitch domain names or hosting without the billing and technical support requirements of its current reseller program.
NetRegistry, a webhosting provider, has launched an affiliate scheme.
The
company is offering resellers the chance to pitch domain names or
hosting without the billing and technical support requirements of its
current reseller program.
CEO, Larry Bloch, said the scheme was
designed for businesses that wanted to resell domain-related services
without getting tied into areas that didn't play to their expertise.
"This
scheme really suits organisations that want to provide these services
to customers but don't want to be responsible for ongoing billing. For
example, a Web designer," he said. "In this way, resellers can maintain
relationships with customers but we handle the back end."
Bloch
said resellers would receive a 10 per cent finder's fee. They would
continue to receive a 10 per cent cut of future purchases made by that
customer, even if it was a result of NetRegistry marketing initiatives.
Resellers that sign up for the new scheme will also hold the right to
offer billing and technical support to any clients they wish to service
directly.
