Free guide aims to provide European Internet providers with details on the new .eu extension; likely to be launched in February 2006.
NicLine, a European domain name registrar, recently announced that it is offering a free informative guide with details on the creation of the new European extension .eu, managed by EURid.
According to NicLine, this guide is designed to arm Internet Service Providers with useful information and professional advice regarding .eu regulation. The .eu informative handbook explains, among others, the conditions of registration, implementation and the pre-registration period, and it may be downloaded freely from the company's website. The handbook is likely to be launched in February 2006.
"The digital identity has turned into a necessity for individuals, companies and European Institutions and the new .eu domain name will provide them with an essential piece of information to be identified in the World Market: European membership." said Javier Saenz, Branch Manager of NicLine.
