Will demonstrate how Datacenter Automation software helps companies ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
Opsware Inc., a provider of datacenter automation software, today announced plans to unveil the latest version of its Datacenter Automation suite in front of a record-breaking crowd at the company's third annual user conference, OPSWorld 2007. The conference is expected to draw an increase in the number of attendees based on the company's pioneering developments in Data Center Automation and growth of the category.
Held between September 18th-20th 2007, at the La Costa Resort in San Diego, attendees will be the first to preview Opsware's upcoming product releases and discover new ways to maximize IT performance and achieve even greater cost savings using Opsware's software.
Keynoting this year's conference are Thomas Hogan, senior vice president of software at HP, and Cliff Meltzer, SVP of Cisco Systems' Network Management Technology Group. Additional keynote presentations will be delivered by Don Rippert of Accenture and leading industry analyst Stephen Elliot of IDC.
Throughout the conference, Opsware will demonstrate new breakthroughs in Opsware System 7, including the unique application-level visibility and control as well as the thorough integration of Opsware Process Automation System throughout the entire suite. OPSWorld will also provide hands-on labs to demonstrate how Datacenter Automation software can help IT ensure compliance with best practices and standards, reach new levels of operational efficiencies, and manage complexities stemming from virtualization technologies. Based on the popularity of last year's real world deployment sessions, Opsware customers will have the opportunity to share case study presentations with their peers and deliver a detailed ROI of the savings they have achieved through the implementation of Opsware's Datacenter Automation software.
"At OPSWorld 2007 we will be introducing the most comprehensive upgrade to the Opsware suite ever, and we'll be discussing the most important industry trends and breakthrough technologies that impact our customers. We've assembled an elite cadre of partners, customers, and industry influencers who are eager to share their expertise. This year's conference is also an excellent forum to discuss our vision for the future of the Opsware suite and of how we can push the boundaries of Datacenter Automation even further," said Ben Horowitz, president and CEO of Opsware Inc.
