Mr. Naomi Tomita to lead sales and business development, expanding Opsware's presence in Asia-Pacific.
Opsware Inc.,
a provider of IT automation and utility computing software, recently
announced the appointment of Naomi Tomita as General Manager, Opsware
Japan.
In his position, Mr. Tomita will utilize his deep expertise in sales
and business development to further develop Opsware's presence in the
Asia-Pacific region and leverage demand for the company's award-winning
IT automation products.
Prior to joining Opsware, Mr. Tomita founded Revo-Tec Partner Japan, a
consulting company representing several U.S.-based technology startups
including CollabNet, Pulse3D Entertainment and WindSpring. Before that,
he served as President and CEO of Engage Japan, a CMGI company. Mr.
Tomita also served as President and CEO of PictureTel Co., Ltd., and VP
Asia Pacific where he generated over $80 million in annual sales of
videoconference technology.
