Names Colin Rowland for Europe, Middle East and Africa to oversee Opsware's sales and business development in these regions.

Opsware Inc., a data center automation software provider, yesterday announced it has appointed Colin Rowland as Senior Vice President for its Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Rowland, who will report directly to Mark Cranney, Executive Vice President for field operations at Opsware, will oversee Opsware's sales and business development for the region and help position the company to meet the increasing demand in Europe for its industry-leading Data Center Automation software.

"Colin is the ideal leader to take the helm for our fast-growing business in EMEA. His broad experience demonstrates excellent leadership all the way from the startup level to Fortune 50 giants," Cranney said.
