Branded as Gigamail@biz, the service aims at providing corporate businesses with significant storage and self-administration tools.
Pacific Internet (Hong Kong) Limited, an Internet communications service provider, yesterday announced the launch of Gigamail@biz, a 10GB email service in the Hong Kong marketplace.
According to the company, it has developed this service to provide corporate businesses with significant email storage space and flexible account administration. Gigamail@biz is a highly flexible email service with a large email storage capacity and a web-based account management interface. Through Gigamail@biz, a company's in-house administrator can log in through the administration interface to create or delete email accounts, set email aliases, assign email storage, and customize the system according to specific references.
Pacific Internet's Gigamail is now available to corporate users under the name Gigamail@biz with 10GB service plan costing HK$100 for the first six months. A consumer version called Gigamail@home is also available with a 1GB service plan.
"This groundbreaking service is an extension of our enterprise virtual email management service launched last year which was also the first service of its kind in Hong Kong," said Eddy Kuk, Managing Director of Pacific Internet. "This reflects our commitment to innovative offerings and customer intimacy and we demonstrate this constantly by making the effort to understand our customers and designing the best solution to meet their needs."
