Parallels, a provider of virtualization and automation software, today announced the availability of Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0, its comprehensive hosting automation control panel software. The company states that the new version of the control panel incorporates several new features that make the product easier, more profitable and more complete for virtual, dedicated, and shared hosting providers and SMBs. The product features integration with Parallels Plesk Billing, the ability to offer hundreds of applications through the APS Catalog, and a new reseller mode, it avers.

The company explains that the new features of Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 include an enhanced interface for navigation and the addition of a reseller mode that better enables hosting companies to market their offerings to resellers. These are joined by complete integration with leading services such as the Application Packaging Standard Catalog and Parallels Plesk Billing 6.0. The APS Catalog provides access to hundreds of pre-packaged applications, while the integration of Parallels Plesk Billing creates a full-featured hosting automation solution that eliminates the need for third party billing software.
