Company's automation to power Pointivity Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Sharepoint offerings.
Parallels, a provider in virtualization and automation software, today announced that Pointivity, an application hosting and managed services company, will offer their on-demand hosted applications, Microsoft Exchange and Sharepoint, with Parallels Automation.
The company says that its Automation delivers hosting solutions through a multi-layer control panel with integrated billing, enabling Pointivity to automate all processes including online ordering, provisioning, billing and reporting.
It explains that Pointivity solutions are built on the Pointivity Computing Cloud (PC2) technology that offers deployment of applications and utility computing on a pay-as-you-go model. Pointivity aims to offer hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint solutions as a reseller program, claims the the company.
