New services to provide a customizable and cost-conscious platform where customers can specify non-standard backup sets and retention levels.
Peak 10, Inc., a data center operator and managed services provider, today announced the expansion of its service offerings for affordable, dedicated storage and backup management for high-volume data customers. The company says that the advanced backup and storage solutions are available in each of its nine markets.
The company explains that the storage and backup management for high-volume data will provide a customizable and cost-conscious platform where customers can specify non-standard backup sets and retention levels. It also explains that customers can also specify spooling jobs to tape for managed off-site storage, and can even have backup jobs duplicated to alternate its facilities for additional geographic redundancy.
''We are extremely excited about Peak 10's new backup and storage product expansion,'' said Andrew Mametz, Peak 10's director of operations and engineering for the Jacksonville market. ''The nature of our business requires massive amounts of data flow through our data centers on a regular basis. Securing our clients' mission-critical information with this enhanced offering will allow our customers to focus on internal projects while they rest assured that their data is secure and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.''
''As customer data continues to grow and its criticality heightens, more of our clients require a high-volume solution that is affordable but still fully-managed,'' said Jeramiah Dooley, director of engineering, managed services for Peak 10. ''In response to frequent customer feedback, we will now offer a scalable backup and storage solution to support customers with substantial quantities of critical data at a more cost effective rate.''
