ZixVPM will provide email encryption for 500 users and includes a built-in lexicon that detects and encrypts nonpublic information to protect data.
Zix Corporation, a provider of secure e-communication services, yesterday announced that Performance Data Center, a data processing facility for First Savings Bank and three First National Bank facilities, has signed a three-year contract for ZixCorp email security solutions.
The company has purchased ZixVPM (Virtual Private Messenger) to provide automatic system-wide email encryption for 500 users, including a built-in lexicon that detects and encrypts nonpublic financial information to protect data suggested by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) as personally identifiable information.
"We wanted a solution that minimized the impact to our users and, with ZixVPM, our users send and receive email just as they always have with no training, software installation, or additional administration. It's completely low maintenance," said Steve Ahlers, president of Performance Data Center.
