Companies announce a collaborative effort to increase email security for their customers.

PostX, a leader in the delivery of encrypted email communications for businesses and consumers, and Sophos, a provider of integrated threat management, today announced a collaborative effort to increase email security for their respective customers.

PostX will combine its SecureEmail encryption with Sophos' PureMessage technology to offer a complete secure messaging experience, which protects all individual emails, while also meeting broader compliance needs and protecting an organization's network.

The combined PostX SecureEmail and Sophos PureMessage solution not only provides email encryption based on policy, but also provides complete protection from viruses, spyware, Trojans, phishing, and spam. The solution allows each email to be encrypted according to content, recipient or sender-based policies, in addition to a wide range of other available rules.
