States that EDS will assume responsibility as operator for the Tier IV Datacenter of Qatar Foundation.
EDS, a technology services company, yesterday announced that Qatar Foundation, a private, chartered, nonprofit organization has awarded it a 7 year Datacenter and Information Technology Services contract.
Under this agreement, EDS, will assume responsibility as operator
for the Tier IV Datacenter being built outside of North America and
Qatar Foundation's IT services located throughout the State of Qatar.
As operator, EDS will provide the Foundation with technology services
and an integrated IT managed service, comprising IT operations, service
desk, infrastructure management and service delivery, says the company.

expedite our ability to supply service excellence to the members of
Qatar Foundation; it further aids us by creating another channel under
the Foundation's umbrella to help transform the State into a knowledge

beyond the application of IT services through the leverage of their
