Qwest Communications International Inc., today announced that it is now offering free Internet-based customer service tools that give customers greater convenience, reliability and flexibility in managing their communications services. These “e-care” enhancements are now available to meet the needs of customers who have asked for an online option to manage their Qwest services.
Qwest.com has a web-based application that lets residential customers view bills online and pay for their services over a secured network. Today’s improvements allow customers to choose the services that best meet their needs, click-to-chat live with a Qwest representative, make payments without additional fees, check their Qwest wireless minute usage and even choose to view the troubleshooting guide where they can create, update or cancel a repair request.
“We’re putting the ‘Spirit of Service’ into action by creating an exceptional online experience with qwest.com where customers can better manage their communications portfolio and, ultimately, simplify their lives,” said Matt Sopcich, director of E-commerce. “MyAccount is one more step Qwest is taking to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.” Today, nearly two million Qwest consumers in the 14-state local service area have signed up for the online solution compared to 550,000 a year ago. With the MyAccount foundation in place, customers can soon expect additional enhancements including bill history updates, 24x7 customer service availability via click-to-chat, and comparison shopping.
