Company to demonstrate ways to generate additional revenue with its data protection platform.

R1Soft, a developer of Continuous Data Protection, announced last week that it will present its Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software at this year's annual Parallels Summit, to be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino from Feb. 2-4. The company states that it joins some of the largest vendors in the hosting industry to provide IT professionals with key information and insights on new ways to increase the efficiency of infrastructures and strategic ways to reduce IT costs.

It further says that with shrinking IT budgets and a fragile economy, finding low-priced IT solutions has become crucial to the health of organizations. The company claims that implementing R1Soft CDP Server 2.0 has helped companies reduce IT costs by decreasing hardware expenses and streamlining administration. It avers that R1Soft CDP is a disk-based data protection solution that synchronizes Windows and Linux servers on a near-continuous basis providing reliable, efficient backups that take only a few minutes and have minimal impact on server performance.
