Rackspace Managed Hosting, a managed hosting provider, on Monday announced the addition of Managed Microsoft Exchange from Rackspace to its email solution portfolio.

The comapny says that the offer gives companies access to an email and collaboration solutions, while eliminating the need for complex configuration and management of a dedicated Microsoft Exchange server. It allows customers to pay only for the mailboxes they plan to use. Built on Rackspace's network infrastructure and backed by Fanatical Support, Managed Microsoft Exchange from Rackspace is backed by the company's 24X7 Fanatical Support with 99.9 percent application and 100 percent network uptime, guaranteed.

The solution also offers connectivity options including Outlook Web Access, MAPI, IMAP and POP. Customers' email is protected by anti-virus screening and spam filtering for all messages and 14 days of deleted data is recoverable while 30 days of deleted data is recoverable within six hours.
