Expands its hardware offerings with HP ProLiant DL385 servers featuring Dual-Core AMD Opteron 200 Series processors.

Rackspace Managed Hosting, a provider of hosting services, today announced that it has expanded its hardware offerings with HP ProLiant DL385 servers featuring Dual-Core AMD Opteron 200 Series processors.

The company says it chose the HP ProLiant to provide an AMD-powered server certified to work with Rackspace's enterprise-class infrastructure and managed services. In addition to the efficiencies created by using the high-performance AMD Opteron processor, the HP ProLiant offers world-class management and monitoring tools to offer better service to Rackspace customers.
