Offers two secure server solutions to customers: Secure Server Host and Secure Server Host for Applications.
Red Hat, a provider of open source solutions, yesterday announced the availability of secure server bundles, in partnership with Symantec, a provider of security software.
The company says that the solutions deliver a certified and tested
package that offers customers the choice of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or
the Red Hat Application Stack bundled with Symantec Critical System
Protection. These solutions enable customers to implement a secure
server with the reliable Linux and middleware platform from Red Hat for
pre-configured and custom configured behavior-based host protection and
against application threats running on the server. Red Hat and Symantec
will offer two secure server solutions to customers: Secure Server Host
and Secure Server Host for Applications.
"The inherent security advantages of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and
the Application Stack, combined with Symantec's Critical System
Protection, gives small and medium enterprises a great standards-based,
secure foundation for a variety of application workloads," said Todd
Barr, Director of Enterprise Marketing.
