Company appoints Mike Thompson to its Executive Management Team as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

SEPATON, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class disk-based data protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Thompson to the company's Executive Management Team as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. According to the company, Thompson will oversee all aspects of its sales and marketing efforts as well as professional services and will report directly to company's President and CEO, Mike Worhach. Reporting to Thompson will be worldwide sales, channel sales, sales operations, professional services and marketing functions.

It mentions that Thompson joins the company after serving as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Egenera Corporation. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Southern Connecticut University.
