Server Intellect, a provider of Windows-based Shared, today announced the launch of R1Soft's, Continuous Data Protection (CDP) across all its servers. The company explains that the CDP software brings its clients, a backup and recovery solution with block-level backups and specific file and folder restoration capabilities. It states that it has selected CDP as their backup solution for essential features including open file backups, speed and reliability. The company claims that CDP gives it the ability to help centralize and streamline administration through the flexibility provided by the service provider API.
