Server Yard (serveryard.com), a web hosting provider, recently announced free web hosting for web developers.

According to Server Yard, the program aims at targeting web designers and developers, who in turn would be required to refer their clients to Server Yard if they need web hosting. The program includes 1000 MB of space and 50 GB of bandwidth with lots of extra features at no cost. The web developers will still get commissions for every customer they refer to Server Yard.

"It's a win-win situation. The web developers will be able to offer their clients a package complete with web development and web hosting. As a result, they'll derive long-term profits from their customers instead of receiving a one-time payment. In turn, they'll drive more business our way." said Simon Macharia, customer relations manager with the company.

The company also released a discounted reseller plan specifically for web designers and developers. The company claims that the package provides them with all the tools necessary to host and manage their clients' web sites themselves at a fraction of the normal industry cost.
