Allows customers to absorb a malicious attack or massive traffic spikes without affecting mission-critical applications.
ServerPronto, a dedicated hosting subsidiary of Infolink, today announced that it has covered its customers with a new option, the gigabit port.
At 1,000 Mbps, ServerPronto allows customers to absorb a malicious
attack or massive intended traffic spikes without affecting
mission-critical applications, claims the company. The gigabit port
option is available to customers for a fee of $65 a month. Beyond
multiple port options and affordability, ServerPronto also offers other
customizable features such as Linux options, power, server-grade
parts and a 99.999 percent uptime guarantee.
"ServerPronto's dedicated servers come with a standard 100 Mbps
connection, which is 50 times greater than the connections found in
most offices," said Chris Kurzweg, Chief Operating Officer of
ServerPronto. "But many of our customers tell us they need more. So
we've added a gibabit port option on all of our packages. We know that
distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks could come in at 100 Mbps
and completely disable most dedicated servers."
