Mike Witty leads Network Compliance team that ensures safety and security of the company's network infrastructure.
ServInt, a provider of managed web hosting for businesses worldwide, today announced that it has appointed Mike Witty to the new position of Director of Network Compliance. The company says that Witty joined it in 2000 as a member of its Managed Services customer support team. It adds that the company's network-compliance process has far-reaching effects on the integrity of its network infrastructure.
The company states that in his new position, Witty will lead the team that enforces its policies against hacking, phishing, spam, DDOS and similar activities. Witty and his team also are responsible for managing compliance with Digital Millennium Copyright Act requirements. Witty will report to the company's Chief Operating Officer Christian Dawson and Chief Technology Officer Matthew Loschert.
"ServInt always has been obsessed with network integrity," Dawson said. "Since joining the company, Mike has kept tight and effective control of all compliance issues. As we've grown, Mike's responsibilities - and his team - have expanded dramatically. Now is the right time to recognize the important work Mike has been leading, and further emphasize his department's formal responsibilities in this critical area."
