New version adds PaaS functions for ISVs, UI control and adjust user interfaces at runtime.
Servoy, a platform provider for SaaS solutions, today introduced Servoy 4.1 - featuring a single code base development and deployment for desktop and Web applications. The company says that Servoy 4.1 is an update to the acclaimed Servoy 4.0, an Eclipse plug-in, enabling its developers to produce better, powerful enterprise-level applications using a standards-based IDE (Integrated Development Environment), including building iPhone applications.
It avers that in Servoy 4.1, it extends its functionality to offer specific features for SaaS providers:
- Increased flexibility.
- Create reports.
- Adjust user interfaces at runtime.
- Add or remove fields to or from existing screens.
- Save changed and new user interfaces in user preferences.
- PaaS (Platform as a Service) for ISVs.
