SiteGround, a web hosting provider, today announced that it has started a holiday price reduction. The company states that it includes discounts on the prices of the web hosting and the extra services provided by it. It avers that its hosting plan now comes at a price of $20.10 for one year. Additionally a 50% discount on extra features is also part of the holiday promotion. The company further states that the promotional price will be valid for one year accounts ordered in the period between December 16th, 2009 and January 4th, 2010.

It explains that another group of people that will profit from the holiday special prices are the customers, who already have a hosting account and want to enhance it with an extra feature. During the last two months it has launched 4 new services: SSH access, business hosting upgrade, advanced SPAM and virus protection, and support. They are now provided at half price together with the popular domain services like domain registration, transfer and whois privacy.

"We wanted to greet the new customers, which will actually use their first account with us during the whole 2010 with a special price," says Lilyana Yakimova, SiteGround Marketing Manager.
