SolidSpace, LLC, a provider of dynamic hosting infrastructure, today announced the availability of Mac Mini dedicated servers.

According to the company, it has committed to the Apple XServe and the Mac Mini platforms to offer hosting on Apple's secure UNIX platform. Through SolidSpace, customers can have redundant infrastructure and bandwidth using their own Mac Mini. Clients' hardware and software are configured by SolidSpace to meet their individual specific needs and housed in the SolidSpace datacenter. Customers are enabled with control over every aspect of the server's hardware and software and receive features like climate-controlled environment, firewall security, and Internet connections.

SolidSpace offers two server packages with plans starting at $24.95 per month. The two packages are Mac Mini Standard, is for websites and applications that have outgrown the shared hosting environment or for developers that need more control over their server and Mac Mini Premium for complex websites that demand superior performance and high availability. Other features include remote reboot, server monitoring, livestats statistic reporting tool and daily backup service.
