The combination of Solix EMDS 4.0 with IBM grid computing aims at improving Information Lifecycle Management

Solix Technologies, Inc., a provider of solutions used by large enterprise customers to manage business critical data, announced that Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite 4.0 has successfully completed interoperability testing and recognition by IBM as an "IBM Ready for Grid Computing" software supplier.

This combination of Solix EMDS 4.0 with IBM grid computing, is expected to provide for customers running mission-critical enterprise applications on IBM AIX® or Linux® to have a scalable platform on which best practices for Information Lifecycle Management can be deployed with avoidance of system downtime.

The company asserts that Solix EDMS 4.0 enables companies to classify, manage and secure enterprise data for information governance, tiered storage strategies, and application data consolidation through data archiving and data management practices to meet business and regulatory requirements.
