Company establishes reseller network for its online backup service; service costs $15.99 monthly and includes 5 gigabytes of remote storage.
Spare Backup Inc., a subsidiary of Newport International Group and a developer of Spare Backup service, recently announced that it has established a reseller network for its online backup service.
Spare Backup service recognizes files automatically, then encrypts and transports backup copies of them every weeknight over the user's broadband Internet connection to twin secure data centers, where they can be accessed from any Web-connected computer anywhere, claims the company. The service costs $15.99 monthly and includes 5 gigabytes of remote storage.
Companies that join the reseller network have a choice of income opportunities. They can earn $20 for every customer who registers for a free trial of the Spare Backup service or they can share in the recurring monthly revenue for those customers who maintain the service following trial.
"Our reseller network extends Spare Backup's reach quickly and exposes new customers across the country to this valuable solution," said Cery Perle, Chief Executive Officer of Newport. "As a result, we can be aggressive in setting sales and service goals."
