Built in Orlando, Florida, completed in October 2006, which helps to keep data safe and web sites online.
Spiderhost,
a data center provider, announced its newly built data center in
Orlando, Florida is helping keep data safe and Web sites online.
Completed in October 2006, the facility provides on-site staff,
security, around-the-clock monitoring, the latest in environmental
controls, three-day power backup and connections from Level 3
Communications and Time Warner.
In light of the growing trend of Web hosting companies choosing to
work with data center operators rather than house their own data due to
variables like cost, reliability, efficiency and security, says the
company.
Spiderhost President Dale Frohman says, "Many companies are making
the switch from housing their own data to using data centers". "IT is
growing, so businesses have more data to protect. Natural disasters,
sky-rocketing power costs, and increasing affordability make data
centers a viable solution."
