SWsoft, a provider of server automation and virtualization service, today announced that it is has joined the Itanium Solutions Alliance.
The Itanium Solutions Alliance comprises of a group of software and hardware providers, including Intel, NEC, HP, Novell and Unisys, dedicated towards the objective of transitioning the world of proprietary computing platforms to open, industry standard solutions based on Itanium architecture. Virtuozzo provides both 32- and 64-bit support for Linux and Windows, and supports the adoption of open standards based on Itanium architecture.
