PEM 2.6.4 enables service providers to centrally manage and deploy e-mail and collaboration solutions.
SWsoft, a server
virtualization and automation software provider, announced today that
service providers can now centrally manage and deploy e-mail and
collaboration solutions based on Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 using the latest release
of the SWsoft PEM data center automation solution.
PEM 2.6.4
integrates with the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and
Collaboration Version 4.0 to fully automate the delivery of hosted
Exchange Server and SharePoint services by service providers to their
customers. With the latest PEM release, service providers can offer
hosted Exchange Server services for direct sale to customers or through
branded resellers.
"The SWsoft PEM solution for Hosted Messaging
and Collaboration Version 4.0 makes it easy for service providers to
customize service plans and offer a greater variety of messaging
solutions, from basic e-mail to higher value services such as
business-class e-mail and advanced collaboration tools," said John
Zanni, managing director of Worldwide Hosting for the Communications
Sector at Microsoft Corp.
"We are pleased to be able to work
closely with Microsoft to deliver increased automation of messaging and
collaboration solutions that help service providers meet the business
needs of their customers, as well as branded resellers. This is part of
a broad strategy, which includes support for the OPEN FUSION initiative
and the Application Packaging Standard, to help service providers take
advantage of emerging business opportunities such as software as a
service", said Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft.
