Launches technology partner track for message security solutions; partners with Authentica, Avinti, PGP Corporation, Voltage Security, Vontu and ZixCorp.
Symantec Corporation, a provider of security software solutions, recently launched a new compatible technology track within the technology partner program for message security solutions as part of its commitment to offer a broad range of message security solutions that meet the needs of customers.
The company claims that the Symantec Mail Security 8200 Series appliances offer encryption, content security, regulatory compliance and zero-day threat protection and are now tested to be compatible. Authentica, Avinti, PGP Corporation, Voltage Security, Vontu and ZixCorp are the partners that have joined the new message security compatibility track within Symantec's Technology Partner Program (TPP). This program allows customers to augment leading email security appliances from Symantec with technologies from its TPP partners. Symantec Mail Security 8200 Series appliances are powered by Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam and Symantec AntiVirus technologies to provide a high level of spam and virus protection while mitigating downtime.
Symantec TPP integrates security and infrastructure products from multiple vendors with Symantec's security solutions and architecture, to provide secure, manageable and scalable enterprise security. The program offers integration tools, development support, joint sales & marketing resources and product certification.
"By integrating select, complementary third-party products with our key messaging security solutions, Symantec and its technology partners can work together to improve security and compliance, simplify complexity and increase ROI on security investments for our customers," said Manuel Gonzalez, director of business development, Symantec. "The partners selected as part of the message security track are recognized industry leaders in their space and offer unique solutions for message integrity, compliance and secure messaging."
