TemplateMonster.com, a template provider, today announced that it now offers Magento themes designed for use with eCommerce sites. The company states that magento is the open source eCommerce package which has had 500,000 downloads since it was launched.

The company explains that the eCommerce community opted for Magent because of its functionality compared to other online store engines. It avers that Magento features include coupons, specials, multiple checkout and shipping options, tiered pricing and layered navigation. However, the high flexibility of Magento has also caused concerns by some reviewers about technical level needed to use the engine.
