Provides information about vendors and providers of its services, applications and offers a weekly newsletter.
IPv6 Cluster, The IPv6 Task Force and HS247 today announced that they have joined forces to produce a new site 'The IPv6 Portal'.
The site offers comprehensive information about research and deployment activities related to IPv6. The portal provides news and events related to IPv6 and information about vendors and providers of its services and applications. According to the company, links to documents are organized in such way that each user can access the relevant sections according to their specific needs. The portal also provides weekly newsletter, sections such as FAQs, a glossary, videos and guidelines to facilitate end users to acquire IPv6 knowledge and to enable it in their networks and systems.
"The IPv6 Portal has been designed as a single stop information source, to allow all kinds of users to access a wealth of information and documents which are key to learning about IPv6, its possibilities and to get ready for its deployment," said Jordi Palet from Consulintel, co-chair of the IPv6 Cluster and editor of the site.
