Hires Cody Menard to manage the recently formed business unit, developing new solutions designed around Microsoft and Windows environments.

The Planet, a dedicated hosting company, today announced the appointment of Cody Menard as general manager of its newly formed Microsoft business unit.

The company says that in this role, Menard will manage the recently formed business unit, developing new solutions designed around Microsoft and Windows environments. Prior to joining The Planet, Menard served as a group program manager in Microsoft's Windows Division, where he was responsible for ensuring that critical business applications remained compatible with new Windows releases.

"Cody Menard brings deep experience with Microsoft and its Windows Division, and he'll serve as a critical resource in developing our solutions for Microsoft-based environments," said Steve Kahan, the Vice President of Marketing .
