Provides 100 percent commission on affiliate sales and reduces the commission-payout waiting period for affiliates.

The Planet, a privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced enhancements to the commission structure of its affiliate program, based on the program's success. The company states that registered affiliates will now receive a one-time, 100 percent commission on the referred customer's total monthly recurring order value.

It adds that it is also shortening the commission-payout waiting period for affiliates. Down from three months, affiliates will now be paid 45 days after a referred customer places an order with it.

In May, the company announced the addition of Internet-products company Directi as its largest affiliate. Share-A-Sale is The Planet's affiliate network partner.

"Since our January launch, our affiliate program has seen tremendous success," said James P. Treuting, vice president of sales and operations with The Planet. "Making these improvements to our already competitive commission structure is another way to thank our partners for referring customers to The Planet."
